One rainy weekend in August, I set out with a full bus-load of gear and a few good friends. Time for the gig.

Edgefest 2018!

So as I left. bags packed, groceries, beer, being in no rush to wake up early, considering the late night of rehearsal the night before.

This year marked our band The Way Out's fifth consecutive year performing here. each time with a different line-up.

This year we welcomed Tanner, Dawson, Curtis, Alec Brickman, and Ol'brother Paul to the stage. with myself acting as sound-guy and coordinator this year.

Joining us was our pals from Space Waste too. they absolutely nailed their set-list and i was super proud of their performance. there is a lot of talent in that band.

Music Isn't always about late nights and drinking beer... I was up at 4:00am. An early start to my day. An early start to get things ready. There's something great about early hours for me. Its quiet, no distractions, especially after a good nights sleep. perfect time to create something...

Legions landing

Last July, I recorded a melody. It turned away from my usual folk style, into a halfway decent Power Rock thing. Threw together this quick video to go with it. after a few more days I going to announce this song, which will be included in a top secret project. more details to be announced soon...

For this i have some help from the team

In this corner, Dawson (aka Michael Delmonico), who first heard my new song and was inspired to create some Power Rock vocal sounds above light acoustic noodling for the new track. should have these parts ready after next days session.
